Inspiration from Art Deco and Nieuwe Haagse School
The interior of the house is completely renovated. Furthermore, its overdue maintenance on the outside has been tackled.
The audio-video cabinet, suite cabinets, moldings room breakthroughs and new doors are inspired by Art Deco and Nieuwe Haagse School. They are custom made by a cabinetmaker. The kitchen is broadly redesigned by us and is ordered directly from the kitchen supplier by clients.
Design process The Hague – Abu Dhabi
During the design process and the execution of the renovation clients lived in Abu Dhabi. They were using the iPad to participate in the design and “walk” through the 3D design. Skype communication was effortless. Client quote: “An architect in NL who designs and manages the whole renovation in detail, while we are in Abu Dhabi. That was just what we needed”.
